Amy Henderson MA, RP (Qualifying)
Amy is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Western University. She also completed a Post-Degree Diploma in Human Resources, which, along with her 15+ years of leadership experience, informs her specialization in workplace stress, burnout, and life transitions.
She works with adults (18+) navigating the toll that work-related pressures can take on confidence, decision-making, and relationships. Amy supports professionals who feel stuck in cycles of overwork, self-doubt, and exhaustion, as well as those facing major life transitions such as career changes, shifting family responsibilities, or caregiving roles. While much of her work focuses on stress, burnout, and life transitions, Amy also helps clients manage concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship challenges.
In addition to her individual work, Amy offers family therapy, drawing on her background in mediation to help families improve communication, navigate conflict, and strengthen connection. Her approach is compassionate, practical, and grounded in real-world experience. She integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy to help clients reconnect with their strengths, clarify priorities, and create balance in both work and personal life.

Jennifer Bard
(She/Her/Hers)
Jenn is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and practicum student in the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University, practicing under the clinical supervision of Registered Psychotherapist Brady Hutchinson. With an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph and an Honours Bachelor of Social Work from McGill University, Jenn brings a strong academic foundation and a wealth of experience in adult mental health and wellness. She is deeply committed to fostering meaningful connections and building trusting relationships, believing that these are the cornerstones of personal growth and transformation. She has experience helping clients overcome depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. Jenn utilizes a trauma informed approach which values each person’s unique life circumstances. She has experience working with survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence, as well as supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community and those who love them. Juliana Roman

Ms. Juliana Roman obtained her Master of Arts (MA) in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and Masters of Arts (MA) in Dance Movement Rehabilitation from York University. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
Ms. Roman has experience providing support to high-risk children and adults and has engaged with diverse communities. Ms. Roman also has experience in couples counselling and relationship building, re-connecting with the self and helping others gain a deeper understanding of their emotions and behaviours. She also has experience treating individuals with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, crisis management, pain management and other mental health concerns. She also has experience with Dance Movement Therapy, improving the mind-body connection while working with individuals experiencing short-term and long-term memory loss, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diagnoses. Ms. Roman has worked with a range of populations, including Indigenous youth, adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, neurological impairments, as well as those experiencing catastrophic and non-catastrophic injuries. Victoria West MA, Registered Psychotherapist
MATERNITY LEAVE BEGINNING MARCH 2025 Victoria is a Registered Psychotherapist and holds a Master of Arts (MA) specializing in Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University. Drawing from a comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed practices, Victoria offers compassionate support to individuals navigating the complexities of trauma, abuse, and challenging life experiences. Victoria utilizes evidence-based approaches including EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behaviour therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She also incorporates elements of Internal Family Systems therapy, Mindfulness-based interventions, and Self-Compassion techniques. Victoria also works with mood disorders, including anxiety and depression.
Victoria’s therapeutic approach aims to examine the connections between past experiences and present-day thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By fostering a safe and collaborative environment, she guides clients in navigating through past traumas while equipping them with practical skills to manage current challenges and move towards a fulfilling future. Arden Smelser

Arden holds a Master of Social Work degree (MSW) and is a registered social worker (RSW) with the Ontario Association of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Since joining Cornerstone Counselling Services in 2018, she has been dedicated to supporting children, youth, and adults. Arden’s diverse background includes roles as an addiction counsellor and a school social worker, where she worked with students from kindergarten through grade 12. Her approach integrates EMDR and mindfulness-based interventions, drawing on techniques from Cognitive Cehavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and self-compassion. She specializes in treating a range of issues including trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, emotion dysregulation, grief and loss, self-harm, relationship difficulties, behavioural concerns, and addictions. Brady Hutchinson

Brady is a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts (MA) in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Clinical Supervisor. Her work is trauma-informed and she specializes in helping her clients to heal from symptoms and emotional distress caused by disturbing life experiences. This includes relationship and work stressors, grief and loss, and trauma of all types, including PTSD and shock trauma, complex PTSD, developmental and attachment trauma, sexual abuse, borderline personality disorder (BPD), problematic anger, and dissociative disorders. Brady specializes in IFS (Internal Family Systems) and an evidence-based trauma therapy called EMDR. She has advanced training in the treatment of trauma, is a Certified EMDR Therapist and is trained in IFS (Level 1). Brady integrates parts work and cognitive behavioural approaches as needed, including Schema therapy, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, self compassion, motivational interviewing, and behavioural activation. Brady has extensive experience working with First Nations people and is trained in Indigenous cultural safety. Brady works primarily with adults on an individual basis, although she does work with adolescents and couples who have experienced trauma or abuse. Brady is a Gottman-trained couples therapist but is not accepting couples at this time. The clients best-suited to Brady’s methods are those who are interested in exploring their past, present and future—in resolving the past events or circumstances that have led them to their current state while also looking at current situations that cause distress, and developing the skills and beliefs needed for their desired future. Brady’s schedule is best suited to those available for daytime appointments and willing to book regular appointments in advance as her last minute availability is limited.
